Planning Session Canceled: The Planning Session scheduled for August 26th at 5 p.m. has been canceled. The city council will meet at its regular session on Monday, September 9, 2024 at 5:30 pm.
On Monday, May 22nd the City of Hackensack will host a “Stakeholder Summit”. This gathering will be for key people in our community area to come together to learn about the accomplishments of the City and Community Area and help to shape our future direction. Following up on the Comprehensive Plan that was updated in 2021, we are encouraging stakeholders to learn about the area plans, share ideas and help shape our better future. The service area for this plan is the City of Hackensack and the Townships in a ten-mile radius including also the City of Backus.
