City Council Vacancy: Notice of Vacancy on the Hackensack City Council The City Council is accepting letters of interest to fill a Councilmember vacancy. The City Council by a majority vote of all its remaining members shall appoint a qualified person to fill the vacancy until the next regular municipal election in November 2026. Letters of interest are being accepted through February 13, 2025, from qualified citizens of the City of Hackensack.
