City Council Vacancy: Notice of Vacancy on the Hackensack City Council The City Council is accepting letters of interest to fill a Councilmember vacancy. The City Council by a majority vote of all its remaining members shall appoint a qualified person to fill the vacancy until the next regular municipal election in November 2026. Letters of interest are being accepted through February 13, 2025, from qualified citizens of the City of Hackensack. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Hackensack, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on April 22, 2024, beginning at approximately 5:00 pm., at the Hackensack Community Center, located at 310 Lake Ave E., Hackensack, MN 56452. The purpose of the hearing is for the public to provide input on funding for the City of Hackensack 2019 Water and Streets Project. Funding was requested through the Small Cities Development Program (SCDP) to construct Water Distribution Lines and Streets.
