Polling Place for the City of Hackensack Residents

Residents of Hackensack can vote in person on election days at the Hackensack Community Building, 310 Lake Ave E., next to the baseball field and water tower.

Water & Sewer Utility Payment Options

Residents may pay their City of Hackensack water and sewer utility bills using any of the following convenient options:

  • Online: Visit www.cityofhackensackmn.gov
  • In Person: Pay at Hackensack City Hall during regular business hours.
  • By Phone: Contact City Hall to make a payment over the phone.
  • Drop Box: Payments may be placed in the City Hall drop box.
  • By Mail: Mail your payment to City Hall.

Accepted Payment Methods:
Cash, check, credit/debit card, or bank account information for electronic payment.

Raise an Issue

Residents and visitors of Hackensack may submit a concern or complaint to the City in writing.

Written concerns or complaints may be:

  • Submitted Online: Use the “Raise an Issue” button on the City’s website.
  • Dropped Off: Place the written complaint in the drop box located just inside the first entrance door at Hackensack City Hall.
  • Mailed: Send the written complaint to the City through the U.S. Postal Service.

Please provide enough information for City staff to understand and appropriately address your concern.

Regular garbage service to your residence can be provided by several companies serving the Hackensack area.

For items not appropriate for the garbage, residents may take them to the Hackensack Transfer Station & Recycling Center north of Hackensack locted at 4524 44th St NW, Hackensack, MN 56452

Hackensack City Council Regular Meetings will be held at 5:30 p.m. on the second Monday of each month at the:

Hackensack, MN 56452
 
Hackensack City Council Planning Sessions will be held at 5:00 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month at the Hackensack Community Building.
 
If a meeting date, time, or location is changed, notice of the change will be posted in accordance with applicable requirements.

The City Hall can not be reserved for non-city use. The Community Building can be rented/reserved for private use dependent on scheduled use.
