Hackensack Ice Rink Lights Are Up—Now We’re Just Waiting for Ice!

The City of Hackensack is excited to announce that the new lighting system at the Hackensack Ice Rink has officially been installed! This improvement marks a major step toward enhancing winter recreation opportunities for residents and visitors.

This project would not have been possible without the incredible generosity of our community partners. A heartfelt thank you goes out to:

• Hackensack Lions Club for their generous $3,000 donation

• Sourcewell for contributing $2,000

• Hackensack American Legion Auxiliary for their support of $600

• Backus American Legion for their contribution of $200

Thanks to these supporters, our ice rink will be brighter, safer, and more enjoyable for families all winter long. Now we just need the cold weather to cooperate!
