The City of Hackensack is seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team at the Hackensack Municipal Off-Sale Liquor Store. This position plays an important role in maintaining a welcoming environment and providing excellent service to residents and visitors.

Position: Liquor Store Clerk
Type: Part-Time (hours may vary)
Location: Hackensack Municipal Off-Sale Liquor Store
Salary: $15.00

Responsibilities include:

• Providing friendly, professional customer service

• Operating the cash register and processing sales accurately

• Stocking shelves, rotating inventory, and maintaining store appearance

• Assisting with product inquiries

• Following all state and local alcohol sales regulations

• Ensuring safe and responsible store operations

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to lift and move product as needed

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Retail or cash-handling experience preferred but not required
