PUBLIC NOTICE

New Four-Way Stop – Lake Avenue & Third Street

The City of Hackensack would like to notify residents and motorists of a traffic control change at the intersection of Lake Avenue and Third Street.

Lake Avenue and Third Street is now a FOUR-WAY STOP.

The previous Yield signs for northbound and southbound traffic have been replaced with Stop signs. All vehicles approaching the intersection from every direction are now required to come to a complete stop.

Motorists are asked to use extra caution, watch for the new Stop signs, and allow additional time to adjust to the new traffic pattern.

Please help us keep everyone safe by following all posted traffic signs.
